OKE MARIA SHRINE AND PILGRIMAGE CENTER, OKA
 
For years the Marian Shrine in Oka Akoko Ondo State has been a praying ground for lots of Catholic faithfuls around the diocese and even the entire country. At the moment the shrine lacks adequate shelter for pilgerims who visit during the wet seasons. You can make a difference by contributing to the building of a dome around the praying grounds. The DOMUS PACIS(HOUSE PEACE)
 
will be equiped for both retreat and study. The folwing facilities will be provided at the center

  • 120 sellf contained rooms (suites inclutded.)
  • Spacious dining Hall and 4 or six commiittee rooms
  • A large chapel
  • Residendence for the staff who take care of the center
  • Recreational facilities
  • Empty grounds for walk-about and for future development
